Bruce K. Long Chief Executive Officer
Bruce K. Long most recently was Founder/CEO of Next Element Studios which he sold to McAndrews and Forbes/Deluxe in 2010. He continues to serve as an executive advisor for Deluxe Entertainment Group. Formerly, Long served as EVP for Technicolor Creative Services, was CEO of camera manufacturer Iconix Video, and was President of Encore Video and Founder of Encore VFX, two companies he sold to 4MC in 1999. He was President of the National Lampoon, Executive Producing several features including Bag Boy and The Red Planet. In addition Long has consulted for or worked on over 2,500 other major feature and TV projects for some of the industry’s most notable directors including James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorcese, and David Fincher.
Deborah Del Prete Chief Operations Officer
Deborah Del Prete is a veteran Producer and Director. As Founder of several entertainment companies, including Coronet Films and OddLot Entertainment, she has developed, financed, and produced award-winning projects for the stage and screen. Some of her feature film credits include, the hit Columbia Pictures comedy, The Wedding Planner, starring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey, Lionsgate’s The Spirit starring Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Mendes and Scarlett Johansson, and Green Street Hooligans starring Elijah Wood. Her theatre credits include F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby and the current Tony-winning Broadway hit, Million Dollar Quartet. She has served as treasurer of the NY chapter of Women In Film, as an Executive Mentor for the Producers Guild of America, an artistic advocate for the Foundation of the LA County High School for the Arts, and is a current member the board of directors of Word Theater.
C.J. Bruce President
CJ Bruce has been a certified computer geek since he was a young child, and produced a web series called Tuscan Underground while he was still in college and created a well-known online portal on Apple’s editing software Final Cut Pro at TheFinalCutPro.com. After working on visual effects for the the major-release film Drag Me to Hell for a year, he returned to online video as the CEO of Video Army, where he worked on numerous video marketing campaigns for two and a half years.
Since then, he has advised dozens of major companies on how to implement and improve their online video marketing strategies. He is now President at New Antics focusing on marketing campaigns and technology around social video commerce. He’s also still pretty good at teaching Final Cut Pro.
Daryll Strauss Chief Technical Officer
Daryll Strauss is a technology visionary that has been changing the film and entertainment industry for more than 20 years. After getting his BS in Applied Mathematics, MS in Computer Science, and doing a short stint working on reconnaissance satellites for the Air Force Space Division, he started his career in the film and entertainment industry. He began by transitioning Pacific Title and Art Studio in to digital production by developing their film scanning and recording systems. From there he went on to Digital Domain where he was a software engineer and manager of the department. During that time he worked on two visual effects academy awards film including Titanic and What Dreams May Come, and helped provide ground breaking visual effects to The Fifth Element and Apollo 13 and many commercials. He was responsible for the design and implementation of the studio’s technology including the first use of Linux in a major motion picture, which lowered costs and improved reliability for the entire visual effects industry. From there he run a group that worked with SGI, ATI, Intel, Matrox, 3Dfx, to develop the graphics technology that is still used in all the Linux systems today. For the last 10 years he has been CEO of Digital Ordnance, a product and consulting company providing real time processing and display of film and broadcast content. His clients include Blizzard Entertainment, Deluxe, Technicolor, and Walt Disney Studios, and a variety of production and post production companies.
Jon O’Brien Executive Vice President of Strategy
As Executive Vice President of Strategy, Jon works closely with New Antics’ marketing, technology and studio divisions to further develop products and services that expand market share in social video commerce. In addition to strategic business development, Jon provides creative direction on marketing campaigns and studio initiatives. Before joining New Antics, he most recently served as Creative Director of Video Army, LLC., a leading video marketing agency serving clients like ThinkProducts, TapouT, SalesForce, Grumbacher and more. Before that, Jon worked in Visual Effects on feature films such as Drag Me To Hell, Michael Jackson’s This Is It, The Spirit and Legion where he led creative and management roles. Jon is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
